The Words We Whisper- Book Review

***Book Review***
The Words We Whisper by Mary Ellen Taylor

Excellent historical fiction that will warm your soul.
This is the first book that I read from this author and it won't be my last! It is told in dual timelines, Rome, Italy 1943-1944, and the present day. This is a story of survival, hope, and family ties. It was eloquently written and I admit that I was emotional at the end. The Words We Whisper is an outstanding story. It’s the kind of book that makes you want to snuggle up under the blanket with a cup of tea and read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters were vivid and captivating. When the book brought you into the past of Italy, I almost felt like I was right there with them. The story is wonderful, warm, and courageous. Highly recommend

“Nothing ever ends as we would expect.”
